Dropshipping in 2023 - The Real Truth

Before coming here, You all might have watched those YouTube shorts or Tiktok videos searching about drop shipping as a dead money-making method or you might have randomly gotten into one of those shorts but in this post, I am going to tell you the real truth and what I have experienced and how much truth there is in YouTube videos that claim to have earned over 50,000 dollars using drop shipping in just the starting month.

Beginner's Experience

All people start drop-shipping as pure beginners but if they are consistent then they will exactly know how it all works in the internet world without even having a big following at the start. Such people manage to be successful in their Online careers and they earn a good amount of money by using strategic methods and they know what the people demand. As a beginner, I started with nothing in drop shipping but it was just me and my mobile. I researched the new methods and got to know so much about modern drop shipping in 2023 I started adding products daily using my Shopify store and yeah I had its free trial and I didn't want to invest any penny which was just a usual thing a  starter would do and I just started building my store and adding products on a daily bases and I would just use CJDropshipping to get the supply of the product.

Sales started happening when I used my faceless Instagram account and TikTok to get more customers in my store and I put useful products in the Fitness niche on my drop shipping website. But I didn't get any sales in the starting month but around two months later or so, This tells us that there is no shortcut to earning money in just a few weeks we just expect so the best practice here would be to kill your expectations and focus on the work you are doing. The starting earnings I got was around 5$ on the first buy which I knew was less but I didn't seek more and I just kept doing it for a few months. And When I reached the 6-month threshold it was pretty much a good money-making method for me and I was glad I didn't give up on it.

The Fakeness

Now many people might think that this is a comparatively smaller amount of money than they hear about from YouTube and TikTok videos on drop shipping or affiliate marketing. Yeah, you guessed it right, many people fake the amount and they show it with editing or by using inspect elements in their videos because no one can earn such a big amount in just a month and that is guaranteed unless they have a huge fan following on Instagram or any other social media platform but most of them are absolutely fake.

Technical Profit Margins:

Most of the products that can make you good money are Fitness, beauty, and pet care products which also weigh less and thus are more profitable with large sales but they are not that profitable that one random person can earn 50,000 or even 30,000 dollars a month.

The Truth 

Dropshipping in 2023 is dead? well no and you can proudly mark the videos as scams that claim that it is dead in 2023 because if I can be a good drop shipper then so can anyone in 2023, the unique method we apply varies in being successful in dropshipping. But it does not entirely mean that your store will be successful, it will once you have unique products and you know what most people demand from random store products.
